Testosterone therapy Coming soon

Low energy, low drive, a harder time building muscle, more belly fat, low mood, and poor sleep can all point to low testosterone. What evaluation makes sense, and whether therapy is right for you, is decided at your consultation based on your history, your symptoms, and labs as needed. If therapy is the answer, we use FDA-approved options, adjust as needed, and keep working with you toward feeling like your best self at this stage of life. This is focused hormone and sexual health care; it works alongside your primary care physician rather than replacing them.

Botox for men

Men want to look younger and more rested too, and more of them are doing something about it. Neuromodulators soften the lines that read as tired or stern, and MesoTox is also used to reduce the appearance of flushing and redness. Dosing and placement are different for men's faces, and results are subtle by design. There are medical uses as well, assessed at a medical consultation: chronic migraine and severe underarm sweating are FDA-approved uses, and jaw clenching and neck and shoulder tension are treated off-label. Botox for a qualifying medical condition may be eligible for FSA or HSA funds; cosmetic treatment generally is not. More about Botox at Mona Medical.

Sexual health Coming soon

Erectile function and performance have more options than the pill. Testosterone therapy when it's indicated, the P-Shot® for erectile function, sensation, and penile health, and a newer approach that uses a neuromodulator to relax the smooth muscle limiting blood flow, on its own or combined with the P-Shot. Dr. Monarrez trained in these procedures through the Cellular Medicine Association. Read more on the sexual health page.

Weight and body composition

Obesity medicine treats weight as physiology, not willpower. Plans are built on InBody 570 body composition, protein and strength to preserve muscle, and GLP-1 or other medications when appropriate. How the weight program works.
